Product Details
A tinned copper or nickel coated copper wire that is designed to work in environments that are characterized by heat and high temperatures. The wire is coated using nickel or tin to enhance its performance. The coating helps reduce the level of corrosivity and improve workability. The wire can easily be soldered because tin has good solderability. The cable can be used in applications of up to 1000 volts.
Applications : Used in environments and equipment that experience a lot of heating. It can be used in wiring for commercial food service equipment, heat treating furnaces, heaters, band heaters, flood lights, infrared ovens, lamp holder leads, and kilns.
Insulation
• Separator tape between conductor and silicone on sizes 10awg to 4/0 on UL Style 3788 only
• Composite Extruded Silicone Rubber with intermediate fiberglass reinforcement
• The cable is insulated using extruded silicone rubber and a separator tape between the silicone and conductor. This is to ensure that there is no conductivity between the insulator and the wire. A fiberglass reinforcement offer more stability for the insulation material. The cable is used in industrial and high temperature environment where extreme need for abrasion resistance and heat resistance are needed.
Characteristics
• Outperforms Braided Silicone products
