This cable is made of Class B compressed and concentrically stranded aluminum 1350 conductors. Aluminum made cables are lightweight and flexible, they are shielded with an extruded polymeric semi-conductor that helps in stress control. The shielded conductors are then coated with an extruded lead-free TRXLPE (Tree-Retardant Cross-Linked Polyethylene) insulation that is also shielded. Concentric neutral made of bare annealed copper wire is bonded helically to the insulation shield.

Annealing is the process of making the copper wires soft and malleable.It is jacketed with a black linear low-density polyethylene compound which acts as a protection. It has a temperature operational rating of 90 to 250 degrees Celsius and voltage power rating of 35kV.
