2-2-2-4 Copper wire is a service entrance cable designed to deliver secondary distribution voltages to the meter base and distribution panelboard of a residential, commercial, or industrial building. This cable is connected to the service drop to deliver power into the building. The cable is made to withstand inclement weather such as rain and snow. Copper Service Entrance Cable SER Type SE Style R can also withstand abuse from UV rays, even in areas where the sun is most powerful.
