Description:
HW261 Single conductor Unarmored type p cable is a robust industrial cable specifically designed for rigorous offshore applications. It can transmit large amounts of current which is 2000 volts therefore it is recommended for heavy duty power supply. This cable is coated with tin which ensures great thermal performance and reduces corrosion. Tin plating acts as a sacrificial layer for the conductor, which means it, protects the conductor from rusting and other forms of external forces even under extremely high temperatures.

Conductors:
The conductor is made of soft annealed tinned copper per IEEE 1580 Table 11. It is flexible due to the many strands and the annealed copper.

Insulation:
Conductors of the Type P cable are insulated using cross-linked polyolefin. This material is tough which makes it suitable for harsh environments.

Jacket:
The jacket is made of black, arctic grade PVC. It protects the cable construction from all forms of external forces.
