This instrumentation cable is made of soft annealed tinned copper strands. It is flexible and designed for high temperature, high voltage environments. It can be used in locations exhibiting temperatures of up to 110 degrees Celsius and voltage from 0.6 KV to 1KV. It is used in marine environments such as a shipboard cable. The tin coating makes it easy to solder and allows it have a great thermal performance. Again, the high strand count makes it resistant to vibration, highly flexible and easy to install.

• This multi-conductor type P control cable is used in demanding marine environments where conditions are harsh. It is used to provide wiring for shipboards, gas detection apparatus, fire detection equipment, ballast control, driller’s console, electronic apparatus, indicator and communication systems, as well as bilge controls.

• Twisted with a bare tinned drain wire
• Shielded with polyester-backed aluminum foil tape

• Each pair of this conductor is twisted using a bare tinned drain wire and shielded with an aluminum foil tape containing a polyester backing for optimal protection.
Insulation and Jacketing
• Insulation- Flame retardant cross-linked polyolefin
• Jacketing- Black, arctic grade PVC
• A jacketing material made of flame retardant cross-linked polyolefin is used to protect the insulation. This material provides resistance to chemicals, ultra violet rays, and fire. It also reduces release of toxic to the environment because it is halogen free. The black, arctic grade PVC jacketing also ensure more protection. It protects the cable from flame, sunlight, chemical and oil effects.
